Rock for Dimes Edmonton

Rock for Dimes Edmonton Raises Funds
for Local MODC Programs!

Rock for Dimes Edmontonhas only been around for three years, but it’s made a big impression. This year’s event took place at On the Rocks on September 20th, and raised $2,500. Funds went towards March of Dimes Canada's Polio/Post-Polio services, Conductive Education, and Aphasia Camp Edmonton programs.

That brings Rock for Dimes Edmonton to a grand total of $19,000 raised since 2013!

Participating bands included: Bad Communicators, Flashback, The Dabs, TBone Laredo Show, Basler, Fear of City, and Bikini Atoll Beach Party. They demonstrated their musical chops for judges James Jackson (from the band True North), Michelle Farquhar (from The Branding Company), and MODC’s Abagail Payne. David McIntyre served as a highly entertaining MC.

The competition was tough but, in the end, Bad Communicators stole the show with their punk-pop-funk-rock groove.
