Burlington Chapter’s mission statement is a simple but a very important one which is to support and promote the continuing recovery process and community integration of stroke survivors, their caregivers and their families.

We are participating in this event to raise money for the Burlington Stroke Recovery Canada program. You can make a difference by donating generously to any of our team members.

Pledges of $10 or more will automatically receive a charitable tax receipt from March of Dimes Canada.

Event Details
Date: Sunday, June 4, 2017
    Registration: 8:30 a.m.
    Walk: 9:00 a.m. to 10 a.m.
Location: Lions Club Burlington
                 471 Pearl St,
                 Burlington, ON L7R 4M4
Good weather - event will be held outdoors, where participants will walk around the Lions Club building in the parking lot for one hour.
Poor weather - event will be held indoors, where participants will walk around the hall for one hour.

- Stroke Recovery Canada - Burlington Chapter Chairman, Andrew Westcott, will welcome and thank all Walk ‘N’ Roll participants, identify and thank all businesses that helped out with the Walk ‘N’ Roll fundraiser and introduce and thank all dignitaries in attendance. In doing so, all dignitaries in attendance will be given the opportunity to say a few words if they wish to do so.
- There will be a walk ribbon cutting ceremony involving the Stroke Recovery Canada - Burlington Chapter Chairman, Andrew Westcott, and all dignitaries in attendance.
- Walk‘n’Roll walk commences at 9:00 a.m. and all can walk the parking lot route as far as or as many times they wish with the walk terminating at 10:00 a.m.
- Burlington Post and Snap will be present to take pictures.

Without a doubt your attendance would certainly contribute to not only the event success but also in helping enhance the Burlington Chapter’s recognition within the community. We are hoping that as many of you as possible will be available to attend the Sunday, June 4th Walk ‘N’ Roll fundraiser event.
